Mama Mia's is my personal favourite chipper in all of Ireland!
Mama Mias is my hometown chipper and in my opinion it really is the best around North Kerry!
The Staff:
The staff are very friendly and chatty. They keep the premises spotlessly clean.
The Food:
They have a large menu to choose from including burgers, southern fried chicken snack box, battered sausage or freshly made pizzas!
Some of their best options in my opinion is the Curry Cheese Chip, a Battered Sausage, a Snack Box with Southern Fried Chicken and their freshly made Pizzas!
The chips are chunky cut and are freshly cooked which is why I always keep coming back even if it just for a bag of chips when I'm passing through town!
The pizzas are another favourite and you can choose from a number of types or mix and match your own topping choices!
Layout:
Its a standard chipper with the main counter and ordering area infront of you when you walk in.
Sadly they seem to have removed the seating that they once had for good. I loved how they used to have the same old tables and chairs that I once would have sat on when I was a child!
Overall Opinion:
So if you are in Listowel and you are looking for some good quality chipper I highly recommend stopping by Mamma Mina's!
Grab a Curry Cheese Chip and a battered sausage and you will be delighted!
Any time I visit Listowel I always find myself stopping here a least once!

Half cooked chips. Barely a scoop in the bag. Watery garlic sauce,rubbery chicken burger. This place has gone down hill in the last couple of years. Never again will I order food there
